Born as Kate Noelle on the 18th of December, 1978, Katie Holmes became popular due to her stunning portrayal of "Joey" in the hit teen drama series "Dawson's Creek". But before snagging that role, Katie first appeared in an Ang Lee flick "The Ice Storm" in 1997.

In between her shootings for "Dawson's Creek", she managed to star in two films -- "Go" and "Disturbing Behavior". This talented brunette also appeared in the following films -- "Pieces of April" in 2003, "First Daughter" in 2004, and "Batman Begins" in 2005. She is currently married to Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise, the father of her daughter "Suri" whom Katie gave birth to in 2006.
